Recently, we learned from the official website of Tianyancha that JBD, a domestic Micro LED microdisplay manufacturer, has successively completed A3+ and A4 rounds of strategic financing. Relevant media revealed that the latest two rounds of financing have raised hundreds of millions of yuan for JBD.

Among them, the A3+ round of financing was jointly led by BYD, the intellectual property fund of Shanghai Kechuang Group, and GF Qianhe; the A4 round of financing was led by Zhejiang Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd., Geely Holdings, and Star Capital.

It is reported that JBD will use the financing funds for Micro LED core technology research and development investment, product mass production, high-end talent introduction and market development.

According to the data, JBD was established in October 2015, focusing on the development of Micro LED microdisplays. Currently, JBD’s mass-produced products include 0.13-inch, 0.22-inch and 0.31-inch Micro LED microdisplays, single/color light engines; binocular color light modules Group, etc., whose products have been applied to a variety of AR glasses products.
